Coming soon in 2022

We have explored almost all the Sino-Tibetan, Austro-Asiatic and Kra-Dai tribes.

Due to limited time, there will not be a monthly publication on this blog in 2022.

Next year, we will publish
  • Origin of Mandarin Part 3
  • Ethnic origin of Malay in Malaysia & Indonesia
Several popular origins are still pending research due to limited reliable sources as to its earliest history. These are
  • Ethnic origin of Japanese Yayoi
  • Ethnic origin of Ainu
There are several theories floating around on the internet and published books on the Japanese Yayoi but they don't take into consideration all the factors like language classification, ethnic relatives, history of migration, legends, physical genetics and culture to give a true picture of their origin. So we won't know when or if ever these will be published.

For the 'East Asia Origin' Youtube Channel, we have plans to do the following videos but do not know when these will be completed.
  • Origin of Hakka Chinese
  • Origin of Northern Austro-Asiatic (Khasi, Palaung)
  • Origin of Southern Kra-Dai (Zhuang, Hlai)
  • Origin of Chin-Mizo & Southern Naga
There are individual detailed articles for each branch on this blog but there is no overview to connect all the tribes together in a video yet.

If there are any requests for any video from readers, please request in the comment section here.

    1. 'Genetics of East Asians' article was published on early Sept 2022. There is also a brief introduction to the origin of Ainu in that article.

  2. Please do a YouTube video about the khasi tribe and how they are closely related to the palaungic tribe
